Abstract

The Red Castle (As-Saraya Al-Hamra) in the city of Tripoli is considered one of the most prominent historical landmarks that has, over the centuries, embraced a wide array of unique cultural and architectural components. Among these elements, the historical fountains emerge as artistic features with both aesthetic and functional significance. These fountains are distinguished by their diverse designs and unique decorations, reflecting the influence of the successive civilizations that have shaped the city—from the Ottoman era to the Italian occupation—making them an integral part of the visual and architectural identity of the castle.
